What is the @privaterelay.appleid.com email and how does it affect my account?

If you signed up for Airalo using your Apple ID, you may have noticed that your account is associated with an email address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com.

This is not a mistake — this email address is an Apple Private Relay Email, a privacy feature of Apple's "Hide My Email" service
